In 1992 Vigor Equipment, Inc. was established by Bjorn W. Svendsen, DHSc, PT, FFAAOMPT. Dr. Svendsen's Scandinavian-based approach backed by over 25 years of clinical and academic experience inspired him to manufacture and sell high-quality exercise therapy equipment to rehabilitation professionals in the USA.
In 2015, under new ownership, the company relocated to Wabash, Indiana. Vigor Therapy Equipment continues to specialize in products for pain-free/medical exercise therapy and unweighting (body weight supported, progressive precision loading) exercise therapy.
The equipment is designed to be user friendly and is particularly beneficial when starting exercise early – day one of treatment – in order to enhance tissue healing and repair.
We believe the key to effectual treatment is having the right tools and skills to utilize in the assessment and treatment of your patients. Toward this end we have committed ourselves in assisting therapists in becoming better skilled in rendering treatment procedures.
